Eligibility criteria for West Bengal SSC SLST (Computer Application):

WBSSC SLST (Computer Application) Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • For Classes IX-X (Secondary Level):

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Application / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
    • B.Ed. from a National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognized institution.

  • For Classes XI-XII (Higher Secondary Level):

    • Master's degree in Computer Application / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
    • B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.

2. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years (as of January 1st of the advertisement year)

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC-A/OBC-B: 3 years
  • PH (Physically Handicapped): 10 years

3. Medium of Instruction Criteria

  • Candidates must have studied the medium of instruction of the school (e.g., Bengali/English/Hindi) as a first, second, or third language at Secondary, Higher Secondary, Graduation, or Post Graduation level as an elective or optional subject.
